CWP5 Precision Circumferential Welding Lathes

Jetline’s precision weld lathes are designed for welding precision parts and provide superior accuracy and performance. The systems consist of a powered headstock, an adjustable pneumatic tailstock, and an adjustable weld head mounting post that rides on a precision machined base. The headstock rotation and the welding process sequencing are controlled by a 9640 microprocessor control.

• Multiple headstock RPM ranges to choose from
• Mounting flange on headstock to accept optional tooling
• A number 2 Morse taper on the pneumatic tailstock to accept optional tooling
• Spindle rotates with a TIR within ±0.001” (0.025 mm)
• 400 amp welding ground
• Part weight capacity of 500 lb (225 kg)
• Standard base length for parts up to 24” (600 mm); custom sizes available
• Maximum part diameter 12” (300 mm); consult factor for larger diameters
• 1 3/8” (35 mm) diameter through hole on headstock

• 9500 and 9900 controls
• ±0.1% rotational speed holding accuracy and 500 to 1 speed range
