Jetline’s standard welding lathe for all arc welding applications. A CWL system consists of a powered headstock and an adjustable pneumatic tailstock mounted on a machined base. A sidebeam track and non-powered carriage is provided for holding and positioning the weld head and is mounted behind the lathe. Headstock rotation and weld process sequencing are controlled by the 9640 microprocessor controller.
System Features:
- Multiple headstock RPM ranges to choose from
- System lengths from 24”(600 mm) to 240” (6,100 mm)
- 1,000 lb (450 kg) weight carrying capacity
- Maximum standard part diameter 30” (750 mm)
- Tailstock clamping pressure up to 1,000 lb (450 kg)
- 600 Amp welding ground
- 1 3/8” (35 mm) through hole on headstock spindle
- 18” (450 mm) aluminum faceplate mounted on headstock and tailstock
Options:
- 9500 and 9900 controls
- Adjustable cradle lift system to aid the operator in loading and unloading parts
- Remote podium for mounting controls
- Pneumatic torch retractors sequenced by the system controller
- Cross slides and mounting brackets for mounting the welding process
- For GTAW and PAW applications, add arc length control, cold wire feeder, magnetic arc control systems
- For GMAW and SAW applications, add mechanical oscillators and seam trackers
- Welding process integrated and weld tested
- Two welding processes for making two welds simultaneously
- Tooling for the headstock and tailstock to locate the part on rotational centerline
