Coil splicers are used to join coiled sheet together eliminating the need to stop a continuous line such as a tube/pipe mill or a stamping press or a roll forming line. Jetline coil splicers are typically based on our standard external seam welders or bench style seam welders. These splicers can be either stationary, where the material continually passes thru the seam welder, or portable, where the splicer rolls on wheels into and away from the line.

Bench Style
- Available with welding lengths from 3” to 36” (75 mm to 900 mm)
- Material thickness range from .005” to 3/16” (.12 mm to 4.8 mm)
- Self contained base with manual shear; maximum length is 24” (600 mm) and maximum material thickness is .062” (1.6 mm)
- V-way wheel and rails available for cart
- Can be used with GTAW, PAW, or GMAW welding processes
External Seam Welder Style
- Available with welding lengths from 24” to 96” (600 mm to 2440 mm) or longer
- Material thickness range from .005” to 3/8” (.12 mm to 9.5 mm)
- Base with v-way wheels and rails available
- Can be used with GTAW, PAW, GMAW, or SAW welding processes
